Ncognita Interview

We haven’t heard a peep musically from Ncognita since the last single she released last year titled, “HALLUCINOGEN”. After talking with Coby and his team at Structure Music Group I decided to interview her. Ncognita has in a matter of mere months cemented herself as one of the most lyrical up and coming rappers. For my money, there is no better lyrical female rapper her age. Her incredible storytelling combined with shifting of expectations is what will catch your eye. Check out our brief interview below!

Where do you go to school?

I got to school New Orleans

What made you want to take music more seriously?

The way I go about life, I’m a go with the flow type person. I never go looking for much.

Do you feel you stand out amongst female rappers?

Of course, that was the whole goal from the beginning. Even going back to my name Ncognita, I’m a lowkey person.

Who do you look up to in music?

I really look up to Missy Elliot and Andre 3000.

Why don’t you have a lot of music out?

I’m going to start putting all my new music on every platform, I’m just a perfectionist.

What do you have planned for your first visual?

I want it to be poetic and have some influence behind it.

How did you and Coby link up?

We met in a class, we performed for a class at a local bar. We developed a friendship before it was anything about business.

Exploring different genres?

I can go a lot of different shit, I’m not Beyoncé but I wouldn’t even mind ghost writing.

Will you stick to your sound or change up for the fans?

I will always stay true to myself.

Would like to thank Coby and Ncognita for making this happen! Everyone keep an eye out for Ncognita.
