J.I and Lil Durk Connect on “Painless” A True Melodic Anthem For The Streets!

Young Brooklyn native, J.I The Prince of NY, has been making great strides in the hip hop Mecca’s rap scene. The Gstar entertainment artist known for cultivating tracks for various rap listeners, giving harmonically rich verses engraved with real pain felt by hoods similar to his all across the country. Breakout out tracks like “Need Me” and “Blame on Me” accumulating a combined 70 million views have help launch J.I into the NY limelight.

On “Painless”, J.I gets a co-sign from Chicago drill legend, Lil Durk, another star known for constantly uplifting upcoming acts. On the track Durk delivers one of the most heartfelt verses of year, sending timeless bars like,

“I’m tired of these funerals, all of these pills they got me delusional, I know you be hearing about these crimes by my city beautiful, it’s a nightmare what they’ll do to you, they’ll kill you even though they rout for you.”

The Young Prince of N.Y. makes his presence felt on the song through a heartfelt verse about being stabbed in the back by previous relationships, meshed with a catchy chorus that’ll have you spinning the track over and over and over again… The eighteen-year old excels at catering to more than one ear, which is why Durk and J.I mesh so well on the lead track off Welcome to Gstar. Both conveying full energy and passion for the hit “Painless” a genuine melodic ode for the streets!
