Ace $upreme Gets In His “Big Bag” For His New Single
Albany’s Ace $upreme is the glue holding together the Upstate NY hip-hop scene. However, with all of his contributions on the side of production, videography, fashion and graphic design, it can be easy for some to overlook Ace’s abilities as a rapper. With his latest track “Big Bag,” Ace is continuing to make the case for more attention.
On “Big Bag,” Ace brings his signature dark, autotune laden vocal approach to a hard hitting UK style drill beat, ripe with sliding 808s and some gorgeous string patterns. He aggressively switches up his flow throughout the track, delivering a mirage of flex bars (“I keep a big bag when I walk in the store”). Although Ace has certainly snapped in the past, this song shows him tapping into a new kind of energy that will leave you feeling motivated and determined. With this quality of releases, Ace’s bag will surely only continue to expand as he keeps dropping new material.
