504icygrl just dropped her first project of 2020, Zazaland, to widespread praise from her fans and peers. Zazaland is a reference to 504icygrl’s love of weed and the weed business, of which she delves in with her brand, 504 Exotics. “I basically called it Zazaland because we been turning New Orleans into Zazaland with all these exotics,” she said with a smile in a recent interview with Newtral Groundz.
Hailing from the West Bank of New Orleans, 504icygrl, 22, has only been rapping for two years, but she remains confident in her abilities and rightly so. “This is only my second tape but this is the best tape ever I did”, she said in an interview last week. Zazaland contains eight heavy hitting tracks, including three strong features from Chxpo (on “Dumpin'”), Diego Money (on “Straight Cash”), and CeeFineAss (on “Hello Kitty”).
In addition to releasing Zazaland this week, 504icygrl wrapped up production on her “Rockin’ Out” music video as well which should be released in the coming weeks. Icy has also been teasing a clothing line that we hope to see from her soon. Check out Zazaland on Spotify and Apple Music and follow Icy on Instagram to keep up with her new releases like the “Rockin’ Out” video, coming soon.
